Knight’s Gambit Vineyard
Knight’s Gambit Vineyard is a family-run, solar-powered business that features six estate wines. Paul Summers planted 5+ acres of vines - Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in 2003. Our Tasting Room is situated on a rolling hill surrounded by sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our farm has been in our family for three generations and we are happy to share our land and grapes with their signature terroir with those who visit our Tasting Room.

Our winemaking philosophy at Knight’s Gambit Vineyard is centered on allowing the grapes to express their terroir through hands-on viticulture and minimalist winemaking.

As we continue to allow outdoor seating only, during these cold winter months, please be sure to call ahead of time (or check out Instagram account) to make sure we have not modified our hours due to weather.
We aim to stick to our regular business hours through January and February as closely as possible and have outdoor heaters.
